What We Do
MTO Appraisals
We are licensed to do MTO Appraisals or Used Vehicle Appraisals for all Ontario customers. This is a virtual service and cost $50. This is a valuation report required by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) for vehicle registration or transfer of ownership in instances when the vehicle is purchased privately, when the vehicle is over 20 years old and the red book value does not apply or a person wants to dispute the MTO’s automatic valuation, to reduce tax owed.
Damage Appraisals
Our licensed appraisers do damage appraisals on vehicles. These are professional evaluations that estimate the cost to repair a vehicle after it has been damaged, typically in an accident or due to vandalism, weather events, or other incidents. We assess the extent of the damage to the vehicle and calculate the cost to repair or determine a total loss based on the cost to repair vs value.
Virtual Auto Appraisals
We now offer virtual appraisals for vehicles. These remote assessments are done to determine a car’s value or damage using photos, videos, or live video calls—without needing an in-person inspection. They’re commonly used by insurance companies, appraisal firms, and dealerships to speed up the appraisal process, reduce costs, and make it more convenient for customers.
Valuations
We offer professional vehicle valuations which is an assessment of the fair market value of a vehicle. They help determine how much a vehicle is worth whether for buying, selling, insuring, financing, or legal purposes. We give a dollar estimate based on the year, make, model, and trim, the mileage, the mechanical condition, the exterior and interior condition, its modifications or aftermarket parts, and comparable sales data for the location and market.
Mechanical & Warranty Inspections
We offer mechanical and warranty inspections. This is an on-site inspection service only, so check our service area map to see if we cover your area. This is an in-depth appraisal that inspects the mechanical systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc.). This type of inspection is used to determine if a vehicle is eligible for warranty coverage, if it's safe and roadworthy or to determine it's market value.
Pre-Insurance Inspections
Pre-insurance inspections are assessments conducted before an insurance policy is issued or re-instated on a vehicle. The purpose is to document the vehicle’s current condition and verify its existence, mileage, and factory or after-market parts. This helps to prevent fraud and ensure accurate coverage.
